217088 2004-02-21 00:14:00 I want to run windows 98se setup again.I have windows 98se at the moment installed.My windows exploerer says that my F drive is my cdrom drive
But when i boot to dos it says there's no such drive.How do i access my cd rom drive in dos?

217089 2004-02-21 00:25:00 How are you booting to DOS? Are you using a DOS6.X boot floppy? That doesn't know about CD drives unless it has a driver loaded in CONFIG.SYS, and the programme MSCDEX run from AUTOEXEC.BAT .

Can you use the F8 boot menu? Make sure you use the "command with CD support" option.

Otherwise you should be able to download a W98SE boot floppy image. Or (if the W98 is still functional) use W98 to produce a boot floppy. That ought to include the appropriate CD handling.
