I personaly think it is an advertising gimmick as they say "In addition, you will also receive a free antivirus and firewall trial software CD". Its a good way to get people to try new programs. Having actactly licenced software from them previsiously I'm not to worried about them having my address. I guess those with "illigel"(which is open to interpretation, what country you are in, etc, etc) installations should be carefull though. |

I have no problem with them having my home address, I have nothing to hide, I think some people around here see m/s as the no.1 enemy in the world and they are a company to run down at any oportunity. Maybe they are just trying to make it easier for people to get updates for there o/s and give them the chance to trial some new software. Mike |
