218694 2004-02-27 18:31:00 Hi
I have posted previously on this subject thinking that an update was causing the problem.
However, if I use alt / ctrl / del my computer shuts down without accessing the a: drive.
If I click start, shutdown, the computer accesses a: drive. Even if I do a restart or cancel it still accesses a: drive.
How do I stop this problem?
Thanks
Kredo

Is your antivirus program set to check the floppy drive at startup and/or shutdown. (As a number of them do by default)?

Cheers, Babe.

I use AVG free version. I cannot find an option that checks the A: drive.

The fact that it does this via the start button and not by the alt/ctrl/del intrigues me. Is there something in the start menu and how does one check it?

cheers
Kredo
