Have a look at this pressf1.pcworld.co.nz Now i would like to fix the bootLoader so i can load back into my partition where windows XP is installed Right now it looks like this [Boot Loader] timeout=1 Default=C:\ [Operating Systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect C:\="Microsoft Windows 98" So how can i get back to XP now please help |

| 219014 | 2004-02-29 04:12:00 | [Boot Loader] timeout=1 Default=C:\ [Operating Systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect C:\="Microsoft Windows 98" Keep incrementing the partition() till you get the right number. Reboot after each number and see if it works |

| 219016 | 2004-02-29 05:21:00 | Do you have one xp partition that you can boot into??? If so I would check the disk management to see how the partitions are laid out, then if your XP partition is the 3rd or 4th partition down the disk put in 3 or 4. (Right click My Computer, select manage). |

| 219018 | 2004-02-29 06:30:00 | Question... What are your partitions... i mean... are they primary or extended with logical drives... Windows cant boot of a Partition that isnt primary... It likes to boot of the primary/active partition... |
