219081 2004-03-01 18:15:00 and it's free!
you might want to resize the originals on your links to 640 or 800, they took forever to load & I had to scroll sideways 1/2 a 19" screen at 1152 x 864, they are huge

219082 2004-03-01 19:50:00 That is really neat Chill - what a good way to share photo's with friends :)

You got me tempted to set up something similar once I finish re-arranging my OS's.

That's now bad :-)
The Linux screenshot on that website is butt ugly!

I dont have a GUI thought, and I'm not sure how well that app would like being run without a GUI on my www/ftp server PC.

Cheers

I agree - each pic takes forever to load on this useless dialup. :-(

BTW, I hope you have each model's permission to load those pics on the web or you're going to find yourself rather unpopular sometime soon. :p :D

I also agree, even on Jetstream Starter it takes a long time (at 17.1KB/s)

219087 2004-03-02 00:45:00 try this then
http://www.imagevuex.com/
I'm going to set this up for myself soon, really nice
Cost about $90 but well worth it

219088 2004-03-02 00:46:00 Yes, most are about 400kb big when taken at Standard Resolution.

The idea is that my friends etc who want the Pics, can come grab the ones they want. If they want the pic, they're happy to wait the extra minute for the whole thing to download.

And yes, Ive told pretty much everybody who's had the Photo's taken of them they're going online (Mostly they requested I do so, so they can get a copy of the pics themselves).

219089 2004-03-02 00:48:00 Looks good.

I dont have Flash installed on my Browser though so it'd be useless for me (I dont like Flash - You can block it :p)

Most of my mates who want the pics are on Dial-Up, so adding more for them to download doesnt seem like a nice thing for me to do ;-)

Aside from that, I dont have $90 :-(

Thanks though
