| 218862 | 2004-02-28 22:52:00 | For those of you who use netcaptor, has anybody managed to get a piece of software like adshield to work? I have "load browser helper objects" turned on, but it doesn't want to load the adshield stuff. I have much the same problem with any program that relies on internet explorer integration. Any help on this would be much appreciated |

| 218863 | 2004-03-01 22:23:00 | Hadn't heard of Netcaptor before. Taking a look at their website shows that their product has a function to block ads anyway so you shouldn't also need Ad-shield. You could always contact them via their support (www.netcaptor.com). However I was horrified to read this for one (www.netcaptor.com) of their FAQ's: Gator doesn't work with NetCaptor NetCaptor currently doesn't work with the Gator plug-in. We're working on it (actually they're working on it -- the changes are required on their end). You may want to check with them on their progress. Gator (now known as Claria) is something you do not want on your system, the fact they are trying to get it to work with their browser doesn't say much about their product.
