| 1356535 | 2013-10-19 08:46:00 | Hey, Exchange: 2003 Mailbox Size: 60gb Number of Sent Items: 4.5 million (99.9%) So far anything that I've connected to it has taken the server down and needed a restart :) ExMerge, Outlook 2003 to 2010 (Exchange and IMAP), Webmail... Nothing seems to be able to deal with those 4.5 million Sent Items. And I need to delete everything in Sent Items that is over 6 months old. Any (sensible) ideas welcome! |

| 1356536 | 2013-10-19 09:20:00 | No idea if this will work but what about setting mailbox manger to delete the Sent items? You may have to do a "few" at a time and change the rules to suit. Found two articles, one is from Exchange 2000 the other from Exchange 2003. Dont normally deal with exchange, but looks like its a possibility> Two articles: exchange-server-2000/management (www.msexchange.org) and 2003 Settings (blogs.technet.com) :2cents: |
