For a start american adaptations of british shows are frequently terrible. On top of that american networks tend to cancel shows that don't Immediately rate well regardless of how good they are. It's so frustrating when you start enjoying a new show and they cancel it. Heaven forbid on top of all that the scy fy channel ( or however they misspell it ) has any actual sci-fi on it. |

Wonder how long it will take Blake 7 to make our shores? 1 week, watch it on youtube. :-) How many remakes weren't an utter disappointment ? Blakes was really low budget, was that part of its charm? They had to rely on the story & the actors, not the effects. The new version will have to satisfy new viewers who never saw the original, not the old fans (old fogies now) |
