1335978 2013-04-08 22:12:00 We have a client that wants us to run and old piece of software as that is what they use and it will minimise compatibility issues between models...:waughh:

It will entail XP 32bit, this should be interesting. Also i havent installed this older software for quite some time so might have to scratch the grey matter a bit.

We are trying to talk them into upgrading..

1335980 2013-04-08 22:22:00 It is a bit of a challenge but they dont realise this is an extra cost to set up. Or they are struggling to why there is a cost to do it this way.

they want solutions not problems ken..haha

Odd article mentions iOS but doesn't mention Android!?! Seems they were slightly confused when they did the "survey" in deciding what the top Operating System was, it's unclear if they wanted to include mobile OS's or not. Windows Phone sees no mention either, though it wouldn't surprise me if that was around / under 1% ;)

It's around 3-4% of mobile OSs.

Internationally I'd believe, but I honestly know only one person with it... But yeah, you get my point though about them being undecided if they wanna include mobile OS's or not?

Yeah I get that, not entirely sure how iOS can be considered a desktop OS really, the iPad doesn't count...

1335987 2013-04-09 00:27:00 Perhaps when you lie it down on your desk, at work, it counts as a "Desktop"? :devil Chilling_Silence (9)
