I cannot boot my laptop onto the home page at all

it says
'A problem has been detected with windows and has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

1335619 2013-04-05 10:09:00 Thats because the SATA drivers arent installed. Sounds like someone has changed it to AHCI in the BIOS. If the option is there. (And it was on IDE mode). If XP is on it. You cant change it to AHCI if it was on IDE mode, then install windows (then change it back to AHCI). It will crash with that stop error Speedy Gonzales (78)
