1335298 2013-04-05 05:09:00 I'm just starting to read stuff.co.nz for my news, It's easier. If there is a better online news site, i'd love for anyone to lead me to it.

Unfortunately Stuff and Auntie Herald are both pretty crap as far as journalism goes. Facts often wrong, grammar terrible - obviously trying to be first to publish means something has to give. Most often it's accuracy and readability...

Can't point you anywhere better though, more's the pity!

1335299 2013-04-05 05:15:00 Channel 40 on what platform??

There could be a problem here.........I am in Ch Ch, and 40 is CTV, so obviously it will be diff. elsewhere.

BBC news online is what I read, more factual than CNN and certainly no hype that you get on American stations

1335301 2013-04-05 08:42:00 I used Clear News (without the pics...) until last weekend - then it vanished without explanation to be replaced by some Vodofone advertising. Grrrrr. Haven't found a good replacement yet. :( R.M. (561)
1335302 2013-04-05 09:32:00 The one good thing about TV 1 was the BBC, now it's gone, what do the genius's who run the outfit do, add more puke, you have got to ask, what is the world coming to. Cicero (40)

Here's a current example of the crappiness of Stuff's journalism: www.stuff.co.nz

When in fact the actual situation is as per this article: computerworld.co.nz

Pretty much the exact opposite of what Stuff has published

Charming, and one can presume someone was paid for that rubbish.
