| 1335992 | 2013-04-09 01:48:00 | I feel for you. Its a no Win situation. I would advise , make sure they know the problem is theirs...you are only trying to help resolve it. Ive a few Clients in the same boat. Old software that wont run on New OS's, or software only runs on DOS systems (yes!!, good ol Dos6) They wont upgrade because A)they WONT spend the $$ on it B)or the software is sooo old that its no longer supported in any way & their customer,stock,etc database is in that software C) or it was custom made software, for them, & no one knows who or where it came from. This of course puts any planned PC upgrades in doubt... really just putting off the inevitable. |
