1356824 2013-10-22 07:37:00 Been trying to get ESET online scanner to work on my Windows 7 machine.

Seems to be active and I tick the the "I Agree" box, but nothing happens.

Its so simple that I surely cannot stuff this up... but it don't work!

Any thoughts ?

The online scanner uses activex which is built into IE, check the settings in IE and make sure its enabled.

To Quote from ESET:
Which web browsers are compatible with ESET Online Scanner?

ESET's Online Scanner is implemented as an ActiveX control, so it is best run on Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
Running the ESET Online Scanner on other browsers, such as Firefox, Opera, Netscape, requires installation of ESET Smart Installer, an application that installs and launches ESET Online Scanner in a new browser window. It wont start instantly, it actually downloads the program, which is 60 odd MB, then it runs.
