1356637 2013-10-20 22:49:00 Hi all

I've tried the help, videos, etc., to try and find out how to save passwords in chrome. Easy enough when you sign up to a new site because you get a drop down asking if you want to save password. Problem is that I can't find anywhere to manually enter a new site / password. And if anyone knows whether "not saved" passwords are actually saved in the registry or somewhere else ?

TIA

1356638 2013-10-20 23:29:00 I presume you're trying to save a password for a site you previously chose to "never save password' for? It should just be under settings in the 'manage saved passwords' bit. Remove the site form the Never Save list. inphinity (7274)
1356639 2013-10-21 03:45:00 Hi infinity ... yeah, I can remove them from the Never Save list, return to the site, enter my login & password and it will ask whether I want to save the password. Problem is, I can't remember the damn password to login & save it. Hence my question about whether an "unsaved" password is located somewhere on the computer but hidden.

I suppose I could ask Larry Page ... or the NSA ... or maybe the GCSB ... one of them must surely keep a copy handy somewhere ...
