Your speed is twice my Jetstart (mines 132.3 Kbps or 16.2 K bytes/sec), what connect do you have? 256? J :D |

| 219458 | 2004-03-04 10:29:00 | The camera I took those photos with was a Genius G-Shot P210, 2.1MP camera. As you can see rather an eyesore. The picture appears pretty out of focus, but theres nothing you can do about it as the camera has no zoom or focusing functions. Point and shoot style. My parents bought it for $200 while I was in Aus, I would've told them definitely not to buy it. Jester your close-up shot is much nicer quality. Has it got zoom or something? Anyway back to topic. The registry files at the NZDSL site seem to work ok, you can save the file to your desktop and open it in notepad if you like. Not much registry altering there! See if you can see an improvement. I'm thinking if you can only get around 250kbit anyway then it won't make too much difference as they are likely to optimise speeds for 1Mbit and above speeds. > BTW, my speed is 270 Kbps. We have a Win XP home LAN with 3 PCs (Ethernet) and a laptop (Wireless) connected via a DSL 504 router. |
