219982 2004-03-03 08:19:00 You can disable there user accounts... then re enable when you want to give them back access...

Right click my comp... manage... Local users and groups... users...then right click the user... and set password... (it gives some worning... but didnt read it) or select properties and the diable the account from there

If this is what you ment...

219983 2004-03-03 20:58:00 All I do is pop a password onto the account that they use when I want to keep them out. When they are allowed back in I remove the password. Simple.

It hasn't yet occurred to them that they can put their own password in to lock ME out so I am hoping that if they ever do, as the Administrator I will be able to undo that. :p :D

219986 2004-03-05 06:05:00 Hey John W,

I'll let everyone on a secret, if you have Admin rights under any user can you reset the Admin Password :P As well as disabling accounts and auto-login.

Go start | run

and type

control userpasswords2

I think everyone should look at this, WinXP and possibly Win2k.
