219736 2004-03-03 01:12:00 Hi all
Dell's latest special on-line offering boasts 1GB RAM but shared graphics so it's the old caveat "between 32 and 64 mb of RAM may be used to support graphics" or words to that effect. Obviously ample RAM remains to run the system but is 32 to 64 enough to look after graphics nowdays? We don't use high end graphics software or edit video and we don't play the latest first person shoot-em-up games. Any suggestions or guidelines? Dell provide an option to add on a video card with 128mb RAM for about $250.
Go to www.dell.co.nz for a peek at it.

for a word processor / internet system then 64Mb will be fine. if you waht to do games now or in the future then get the graphics card.
