| 220127 | 2004-03-04 07:29:00 | Ive been using a win 98 start-up disk to try and format a 2Gg HDD. However Im getting Format not supported on drive C: after typing in A:\>format C: Ive also tried to Fdisk before trying to format but it tells me that Primary DOS Partition already exists. Would like to install Win 98 to use as a second PC. Any help would be appreciated. Mac |

| 220129 | 2004-03-04 08:16:00 | Thanks oofalcon, have tried that and it returns me to DOS A> promt. Then I re-run fdisk through optin 1. Create DOS partition Then Create Primary DOS Partition And I get under the heading Current fixed disk drive: 1. Parttition C: 1 Status A Type PRI DOS Mbytes 953 System unknown Usage 47% Primary DOS partition already exists. More help would be great. Normally fdisk and format is straight forward but this time it not so good |
