| 220116 | 2004-03-04 06:50:00 | Hi. I have two queries regarding Outlook Express on Xp Home... 1) My customer doesn't have a printer, and prints emails by "printing" to her own fax machine. This is about a ten step process - can anyone suggest how to shortcut the process? 2) She's also received emails with image attachments, but her default settings seem to remove the attachments, suggesting they're suspicious. That is a well known issue. To fix go in OE > Tools > Options > Security tab. Remove the tick from beside "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus". Click Apply and OK. Make sure she is aware of the danger of attachments and that she should save all attachments to the hard drive and scan them with her antivirus software before opening them. |
