| 220752 | 2004-03-12 01:04:00 | I take it you mean the 2MB/512cable internet, it's not adsl like Jetsream. It's not bad that's for sure. It's a $14.05 saving /mth on the paradise jetstart that I run (at the mo) with a Telecom phone, Telstra/Saturn phone, Saturn TV + Sky Sport + Sky Movies. Only draw back is the 1Gb cap (10GB for paradise Jetstart) and the $10.95 modem rental which is still a rip off IMO but better than the $17 it was. So much so that I'm thinking seriously of signing up for the 5GB package at another $5.85/mth on top of my current plan for 2MB/s download speed. Installation will be a breeze as the cable is already there. Cheers Murray P |

| 220754 | 2004-03-12 05:11:00 | I see its happening around september. Is this to do with wholesale of telecom's jetstream service? Or would this require LLU? | PoWa (203) | ||

If you are referring to the first link in Karen's post then take note that it says September 2003. Obviously this was written before the recommendation not to go ahead with LLU so it is highly unlikely that the plan they state there will see the light of day. And as Murray previously mentioned, the package Karen mentioned is definitely Cable not ADSL. |
