| 220817 | 2004-03-07 03:48:00 | I'd like some advice on the best kind of laser printer to buy. It's going to be for home use and I'd like to use it on a small 4 computer home network. I've been looking at a HP LaserJet 1300 - anyone have any experience of these?. I'm on a budget of no more than $1000. I'd like to have the printer connected to the whole network, rather than it piggybacking of one computer. Any suggestions appreciated | Ashley Matthews (550) | ||
| 220818 | 2004-03-07 05:59:00 | Hi Ashley I think the HP1300 has an ethernet connection so it should be configurable as a network printer. As far as performance goes, I have an HP1200 on a similar sized network that I am very happy with. It runs off one computer acting as a print server but since that is always the first one switched on each day it hasn't been a problem. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
