2004-03-10 07:54:00 | I have about $2500 for a new computer, my main use for it is family and internet. It will not be used for gaming. My main priorities are good sound system, Monitor must be at least 19" or 17" if a flat one. A good processor but not top of the range with enough ram and hard drive to keep me going. I have seen Dell site and they seem very good value. Anyone else have any thoughts? ta Bernard

2004-03-10 08:16:00 | My initial thought would be to knock anything up to $1,000 off the price unless you are set on spending all of the $2,500! | JohnD (509) | |

2004-03-10 08:40:00 | 24 posts in and your already instructing people to buy off you? lmao. Anyhow,Can i give an opinion? sure i can Ditch the free host and buy a domain name.A domain name and a years hosting will only cost 70 bucks. Get rid if the hotmail address,Granted getting a domain will take care of that. List a physical address. If your going to state terms and conditions apply then publish them on the page. Your call out fees are too low, people will happliy pay more.Hell they happily pay more to get a guy in to replace the washers in a tap.

2004-03-10 09:18:00 | yes, that is a good site ( ;) ) But for your purposes, you can get away with about $1250 try and get quotes from as many places as you can

2004-03-10 09:19:00 | love your rates Also, because we charge on a callout basis as opposed to the an hourly charge, you can get what you need done. NZD$20 at that rate your welcome to come over and fix all my pc's. 8 hours of work done and it only costs me $20........yipppeeee! by the time you take 12.5% gst out, 30% tax out, you will be lucky if you can afford the gas to drive here.
