221914	2004-03-12 06:41:00	Thot u wanted a good sound system?!?!?? That Dell is good, performance wise (3.2 Ghz with a 9800 Pro) but sound would be crap as coming from those Dell speakers! If u actually want decent sound get one of these: Klipsch Promedia Ultra 5.1 Logitech Z-680 Creative Megaworks 550/Gigaworks These speakers will actually WILL give u decent sound, I personally own the Z-680 and my friend have a set of Klipsch and they are both in my opinion quite good for PC spkrs. The creative suppose to be really good as well, especially the gigaworks which I don't think u can get in NZ yet. Also, before u buy please for ur sake make sure what motherboard they use on the system (which doesn't seem to be there on the specs). Board which uses the 875 Chipset are top of the line eg: Asus P4C 800 Abit IC7- Max 3 Gigabyte 8knxp. boards which use the 865 (springdale chipset) are decent as well but cheaper. eg: Asus P4P 800. There I just don't want u waste ur money ; ) So I hope u find this useful .... if not just ignore it. Let me know how u get on ; ) Laterz!	Kenshin (2501)
221915	2004-03-12 06:54:00	Also, u shouldn't buy a package computer .... u are probably paying like like 500 dollars more than what u can get all ur parts for. Other than that, the specs looks good apart from the 17 inch Mon, and i suggest u to get 1 GB of ram too. Not that u need 1 GB of ram, but its not much more expensive and you might find it useful in some softwares. Also, to be honest with u ... u really shouldn't get a P4 rit now unless u r doing a lot of vid editing work which HT helps a lot. I mean u can get an Athlon 64 3200+ for about the same price ...and that will beat the P4 in almost every single thing that you do apart from vid editing, and not to mention it will support 64 bit Windows and apps which will come out in da future!! So, yeah if I were you...I would custom build a A64 system with 1 of those sound system I suggested ..... and in the end it will prolly cost you the same about ; )	Kenshin (2501)
