| 221843 | 2004-03-12 01:57:00 | I have a cd cdwriter which supports usb1 and not usb 2.it comes with the usb cable and my dad is sending me a new cdwriter with a usb 2 cable is there any difference between usb 1 and usb 2 cable?THe cable is the same right? |

| 221844 | 2004-03-12 02:03:00 | A USB 2 cable will be made to slightly better specifications. It probably wouldn't make any difference in normal use. But if you got a very fast device using the full bandwidth of USB 2 it would. It's a like IEEE 1284 cables and "printer cables". You must use the 1284 cable with some printers. For other printers, it doesn't matter. But when it matters, it matters. :D |
