| 222190 | 2004-03-15 04:11:00 | I tried using the various updating addresses advised but with no success. I managed to locate my update log. The most important line reads: download status value = FAILED Error Code 2147467260 Any ideas on what this means? Thanks |

| 222194 | 2004-03-16 05:07:00 | Problem solved. I worked my way through Robs web link and fixed the problem with step 8. That was by deleting all the contents in C:\program files\windowsupdate\V4 With an empty folder in V4, windows update worked!! My thanks to everyone who answered Ron |
