Start/Programs/accessories. Tools & Maintainance has disappeared, due to too many geeks (grandchildren) messing with my machine (running ME). I can find elsewhere de-frag and scan disc. But due to the afore mentioned geeks I rely heavily upon System Restore. Can anyone help; other than ridding me of the geeks. |

Go to The drive where the windows folder is. Enter the "System32" folder and then locate the folder called "Restore" and enter it. You should see a file called "rstrui". Right click it and then click "Send To" >> "Desktop (create shortcut)" to add a shortcut to your desktop.
This should work as long as you don't press delete instead. |

Might help to make various things "Read Only". That way they'tdhave to try harder. ;-) |

Try clicking on / start / help / on the left you will see Fix a Problem / System Restore |
