222850 2004-03-16 02:50:00 I am trying to update a web page I have created with Frontpage. I have it on my hard drive but when I upload to the site using Core FTP the files will not transfer do I have to convert them to some type of format. They are html at present .. One of the files is an excel file which has been changed to html waituke (5406)
222851 2004-03-16 03:28:00 You can upload them in their existing formats. You might be uploading to the wrong directory or something simple like that Greg S (201)

222853 2004-03-16 05:42:00 What happens when you change an Excel file to html? Was the Excel file saved to html, or did you just change the extension?

That is off the topic i know, but I just don't know if that will work if you just changed the extension.

222854 2004-03-16 05:47:00 Eitherway the file should still upload,The exetension shouldn't matter.

Provided their is room for them on the other end.

That'd be right, but the resulting page won't be able to be viewed correctly if just the extension was changed.
