| 222707 | 2004-03-15 19:07:00 | How can I get Win Explorer to keep C:\Photos folder & subfolder to view in thumbnails, and C:\Finance folder & subfolders in details view. I want to retain one view for each folder-subfolder in the same view mode. Thanks John W |

| 222708 | 2004-03-15 19:58:00 | Hi John In Windows Explorer, Tools, Folder Options. Click on the View tab and scroll down a screen full. Tick the box: Remember each folder's view settings But it isn't perfect. Give it a try. I sort by date for lots of things then everything else sorts by date and drives me nuts. robo. |

| 222709 | 2004-03-15 20:32:00 | Thanks Robo Thats exactly the problem Im having. Thought there was a way to do what I wanted, well I thought there was as I had seen others have folders & subs in the same view, but then I never saw what their other directory folders files looked like. Cheers John W |
