222701 2004-03-15 10:27:00 Greetings,

Ive come across a site (url=http://pbskids.org/barney/children/games/directions_game.html]barney[/url]) that requires Shockwave.

Is there a player for Linux, or are Macromedia still refusing to give off code?

222703 2004-03-15 11:13:00 I am not aware of any Shockwave player or plugin for Linux.

There is a petition you may want to sign which may help convince Macromedia to release a player for Linux.

You can sign the petition here (www.petitiononline.com).

Yeah, It pops up each time asking if I wanna install it or not. If I choose yes, it takes me to the Macromedia site.

Thanks, Ive signed that, and Im sure my parents will later too.
With my Father debating Dual-Booting his work PC with Ark Linux, this sorta thing means a lot to him, so its good that he can get involved ;-)

Looks like I might be stuck having to invest in CrossOver Plugin :-(
