222697 2004-03-15 08:37:00 My motherboard has a AGP slot, and the manual reads that it is a 4x,
but there are no dividers in the slot. Does this mean that I can use a
2x , 4x , or 8x graphic card ?

222698 2004-03-15 10:17:00 whats the mother board? If the manual says it is a 4X agp then that is all it is 1X 2X and 4X I very much doubt it will be 8X if your manual doesn't mention it. Odin (227)
222699 2004-03-15 10:24:00 you might be able to run an 8x AGP card but your agp slot will need to be 3.5 volts and the card if it runs will only run at 4x Odin (227)
222700 2004-04-03 04:43:00 APG 8x cards generally support 4x, as a lot of motherboards around don't support 8x, the same as 4x cards can be used in a 2x board manik_munkey (4223)
