| 222598 | 2004-03-14 23:44:00 | I managed to get my hands on an old AMSTRAD PC-14CM 14 inch monitor but realised that the monitor connector looks like a Male 9 pin serial connector instead of the standard 15 pin configuration. The monitor still works as i used the old IBM 286 computer it was built for before i hacked it open for parts my question is, is there any sort of adaptor that will convert the pin configuration on the monitor? |

| 222599 | 2004-03-14 23:55:00 | The old monitor sounds like it has an EGA plug. I have never seen an adaptor for this as I assume the EGA monitor wouldn't be able to handle the VGA signal. I stand to be corrected on this though :) |
