| 222767 | 2004-03-16 01:50:00 | If I put pictures on to a cd can I play them over the TV through a DVD player ? | heaton (3697) | ||
| 222768 | 2004-03-16 03:02:00 | Yes you can. What CD burning software are you using? Nero is able to create a CD with your pictures and most likely other programs are able to as well. See your program's Help files or website FAQ for more information. | tommy (2826) | ||
| 222769 | 2004-03-16 03:47:00 | Thanks a lot. My software is called " record now " which came with Windows XP. I have lots of family photos ( negatives and slides ) which I am in the process of scanning and if other people have DVD players then they can view them on their tv's. Thanks again. |

| 222770 | 2004-03-16 04:03:00 | Many of the cheaper DVD players available now will recognise pictures on a CD in .jpg form, and automatically play them as a slide show. Not all will though, so don't take it as a guarantee of success. Dearer doesn't mean better when it comes to this function. Also, DVD players are fussy as to the media. Some will only recognise a CD-RW disk, some only a CD-R disk, and some are fussy as to the brand. Its a trial and error process that depends on the brand and model of DVD player. |
