I have Open Office installed on two XP partitions with identical settings and configurations including the page margins. However, when I create a doc on one partition and open it on the other, the formatting jumps to about 1/2 page out! Can anyone explain why please? |

Sounds a bit odd! I have used OO now for a couple of years at work (on 2k and XP) and home on Redhat Linux and find it very stable and predictable. Can you explain what you mean by "formating jumps to about 1/2 page out"? - does (for example) the bold attribute change to text further down the page? -- not sure what you mean. |

I have 602 Text running on my petition and my partners....and I'm having a similar problem and can't seem to correct it...it is just on his side. I have now downloaded Budgie16 Office Suite (freeware) and love it. It's simple and basic.....all I need. |
