| 222588 | 2004-03-14 23:20:00 | Running W98se & IE 5.5 - After a home page Hi-jack - despite using counter measures - I attempted to use the above FAQ Step 6, to lock my Home page. Regedit - HKEY-USERS\DEFAULT\Software\policies\microsoft\ so far so good, but Internet Explorer is not shown there. Any ideas? Thanks Peter |

| 222591 | 2004-03-15 02:43:00 | Thank Mark - I use adaware and Browser Hi-Jack Blaster. This told me about the changed homepage, but these things are persistent sods. Found in the registry a few oddities but will install Spybot for peace & mind - and also stop going to dodgy sites. As I have recently reformatted, I still have a few progs to install. Bye |
