| 223111 | 2004-03-17 06:02:00 | Hello, As many will know, I am doing NCEA (Just don't I hate that!) L2 Mathematics. Part of the course is an investigation. I have to do a statistic survey of 'Left Hand vs. Right' and analysis the percentage.. etc. So, please help by telling me how many left and right handed in your own family only. Do not purposely pick one over the other. And please, no comment on which is better :p Off course... mine if best :p Cheers, |

| 223114 | 2004-03-17 06:40:00 | In our family of 4, 3 are right handed, and 1 is ambidextrous - now doesn't that stuff your stats up? The ambidextrous one (male parent) writes right handed, eats left handed, plays darts one hand against the other, and is never sure which hand will win, and kicks a football (round - he grew up in Scotland) with both feet! And in his employment (electronics engineer) finds his ambidextrousness very useful! Cheers MrsMac :) |

| 223117 | 2004-03-17 07:22:00 | Hi - - sy - - (don't mind if I use your shorter name do you ?) If you are going to get any meaningful results you need to specify what "own family" means. Otherwise everyone will put their own interpretation on it. To different cultures, indeed families, it means something completely different. If you have not been told by your lecturer then you decide - but spell it out at the beginning of your assignment. He/she will then be suitably impressed. Good luck ! Misty :) |

| 223118 | 2004-03-17 08:36:00 | Well, Thanks all I do not exactly mean family, just random people I just don't want it to be "OH! I'll put that friend and that friend of mine to balance it out... between left and right" I want just random will be fine. No thinking allowed :p Many thanks once again, *Mmm... funny that only a few people on this forum can be bothered to reply to such a easy question.* Thanks so much to people already helped... |
