| 223092 | 2004-03-17 05:17:00 | i have noticed a program called SBLHOST.exe in my processes list. now when this is active, i cant use taskmanager. i have to open prcview (process viewer by norton) and kill SBLHOST.exe. then i can open taskmanager. i dont know what it is and searching on google comes up with nothing, and it also seems to have killed my firewall. going to SBLHOST's properties tells me that it is the windows update manager, but as far as i know, thats wuauclt.exe. it also says that SBLHOST's internal name is cod_tlight.exe, not the sort of thing i would expect from microsoft. i have scanned it with norton, and it tells me its not a virus, but i have still quarantined it. | agent_24 (4330) | ||
| 223093 | 2004-03-17 06:07:00 | sounds like a virus. had one the other day with similer name and same symtoms. taskmanager would open then close very quickly, adaware would run for a while then die. is your antivirus uptodate? also your antivirus may be damaged. try another such as AVG. |
