| 222906 | 2004-03-16 07:34:00 | I need to use a USB digital camera on a computer without a USB socket (not expandable). I have a USB - PS/2 adapter which allows me to plug a USB mouse into a PS/2 socket. I am wondering if it is possible, perhaps with some driver or utility, to use a USB device that is not a mouse (ie. the camera) with this adapter. It seems theoretically possible as the wires (GND, SND, RECV, +5V) map up perfectly. | george12 (7) | ||

Serial is just too slow to accommodate USB speeds. If its a laptop you may be able to get a PCMCIA to USB adapter. What kind of computer is it, to not have any PCI slots? |
