1359027 2013-11-06 08:26:00 Hi guys,

I am building a wordpress website using the twenty ten theme, I have a child theme and have been making a few css changes but am a bit stuck now. I managed to get my one column pages extended so that the text takes up more of the screen as before it was all crammed in the middle of the page, now my problem is it is no longer centered and the margin is bigger on the left. Does anyone know how I can rectify this? This is the change I made to extend the written area:

.one-column #content {
width:800px;
margin:0 auto;
}

Thanks :)

So you have your content set as an ID inside of a class?

How wide do you want your center column and what are your margins on either side of the column?

Could you post a link to the site so I can have a look at it?
