| 1358673 | 2013-11-04 01:48:00 | Suddenly I have no speaker sound. Win7. The speaker box light is on. The cable to the PC is properly installed and I have tried a second set of speakers too. I have checked the device manager and no yellow problem highlights. All MS updates have been applied and I just don't know where to go to from here. Any help would be appreciated. |

| 1358674 | 2013-11-04 02:01:00 | Just an update, I have WIN8.1 on the same PC. Using 8.1 there is sound so something has happened to WIN7 sound reproduction. | Bryan (147) | ||

| 1358676 | 2013-11-04 02:16:00 | Thanks pctek. I am using a Nvidia Geforce 430 so I think I shoud download their driver. Am I right? | Bryan (147) | ||

Simple problems but surprisingly common. Also if you ever use USB sound devices such as headphones they tend to take over automagically when plugged in which can fool you, I once spent half an hour trying to figure out why my sound wasn't working and then noticed the tiny USB wireless transceiver was still plugged into the front. | dugimodo (138) | ||
