The formal union of a man and a woman, typically as recognized by law, by which they become husband and wife:

Same sex people can already live together but the government shouldn't be allowed to change the definition of marriage.some people's opinions want same sex marriages, and not all of them are gay. I have not met anyone opposed to it except on this forum.

The minority do have the right to their opinion but these are usually overruled by the majority .

In a democracy the minority are always overruled by the majority. That’s what makes it a democracy.

But here we have 10% of the population trying to dictate to 90% of the population and have all the rules changed to accommodate them, the minority.

What’s more, the Politicians will probably oblige in keeping with their own sexual persuasions or the collection of a few votes.
