2013-04-18 06:31:00 | Winston's great speech: www.youtube.com Well Winston absolutely nailed it didnt he. Right on the money, the issue should have been the subject of a binding referendum. So, should I be inclined to vote next election, Winston will get it because the rest are an embarrassment. As an aside, did anyone else notice the empty seats? Half the sods were missing in action. Must work from home or a Bar somewhere.

2013-04-18 06:40:00 | Winston's great speech: . youtube . com/watch?v=tNi3dhqFKlw" target="_blank">www . youtube . com I actually quite liked it, and he touched on some *very* good points really didn't he . A binding referendum . . . Right now, on far too many "controversial" issues, in general, they can ignore their constituents who voted them in and just go with however they feel on the day . Look at the anti-smacking legislation that passed, regardless of the incredibly strong and vocal opposition from what was easily the vast majority of people, right the whole way through the damned thing? Food for thought, at least . So you will be voting for him in the next election then? I wouldn't be, don't like the guy after his history, but it's good to see he can have a level head on him at times, and I have to admit that the way NZ First think certainly seems to be more aligning with my way of thinking . As he said, their party celebrates diversity and embraces it, but they're respectful of the differing opinions and believe certain laws should be subject to a binding referrendum . I've decided, nationally, we need to streamline the referendum process so it doesn't cost anywhere near as bloody much . Perhaps use everyones IRD # to login to an online place, fill out their vote, done . . . I liked Maurice Williamson's ( . youtube . com/watch?v=VRQXQxadyps" target="_blank">www . youtube . com) better :D That was pretty good . He also has a very well balanced view of a lot of the damning criticism, and I commend him for it . Liked it all, even the quote about the big gay rainbow . Bummer that his quote was wildly out of context and what he's referring to is how a generation of people who were disobedient to God were basically stuck wandering around in a desert for 40 years as a result of their disobedience and that nobody but the children would see the "promised land" . I found *that* aspect of it very amusing :p Best one tocome out of Parliament . Thanks for the link . Agreed! Well Winston absolutely nailed it didnt he . Right on the money, the issue should have been the subject of a binding referendum . So, should I be inclined to vote next election, Winston will get it because the rest are an embarrassment . As an aside, did anyone else notice the empty seats? Half the sods were missing in action . Must work from home or a Bar somewhere . I'd *love* to see you vote at the next election . That'd be the day, wouldn't it? :D But yeah I noticed around half the seats looked empty too while watching it . Any idea why? I thought they were all required to be present at certain events like this?

2013-04-18 07:13:00 | Fixed for you Mr PC . BTW by your logic . . . If a Hetro couple get a Civil Union they cannot call each other Husband and Wife?It has nothing to do with political correctness, its just the definition of Wife . And not by my logic, but once again by definition, no they cant, because Husband and Wife is to do with Marriage, and a Civil Union is not Marriage - if it was, there would be no use for the current law just passed would there .

Go to about 1m 13secs and note how he big notes about having a degree in Physics. He then claims he used the thermodynamic laws of Physics and by putting in his body weight and his humidity and assuming hell to be 5000°? He would last 2.1 seconds. I look forward to him publishing a paper on his calculations. :D Like his 3D Printers making drugs, and his INSIS computer failure, I suggest its just more Williamson hogwash. Unfortunately, as well as making us all look like fools for having him in parliament, we also have to pay his wages and expenses. :( However, I did draw some comfort from him advising that he had three adopted children. I take it that means he hasnt been contributing to the gene pool. ;) |

2013-04-18 09:49:00 | Well, the world didn't end, all the happily married heterosexual couples didn't all spontaneously die or turn gay, so.... business as usual then? Thats the whole point, its not the now that matters, its the foundations that we lay for our children, and this will have huge effects on society in years to come. Im flabbergasted by the off hand manner that some ignore this... Society needs boundary's which guide its citizens, I believe this will have repercussions which will confuse future generations, all tracts, that increase rebellion, violence & place too much burden on tax paying society
