1337130 2013-04-16 04:41:00 Well I’ve just been distilling some Moonshine and the whole time I was thinking how much easier it’s going to be when I get my 3D Printer.

I’ll just sit at the keyboard, type in my order and out will come Gin – Rum – Whiskey………………you name it.

What a machine.

Maurice Williamson for President.

And he’ll be announcing Perpetual Motion just before the next election I believe. ;)
Hah! With the i3Supersquirter the process is even more efficient. Just thinking of printing a batch of spirits will instantly give you a fuzzy feeling with a dreadful thirst. You have become redundant for the whole process between the moment you make a decision and the arrival of the hangover. Even the headache is a multifunction device that also serves as Minister of Customs.

1337131 2013-04-16 10:20:00 Yes, as one who got a 3D prototype done it is amazing what they say 3D printers will be to print.

Clothes.
Foods
Guns
And now drugs
And Houses.

(3D girlfriends would be handy)

Other 3D needs

Personal power stations

As as one poster said Printer Ink!

1337136 2013-04-17 05:02:00 Well, it will be technically possible for 3D printers to print drugs. Not in any time-frame that I would refer to as "soon" though. Maybe, in way-out-there theory, but you'd need a huge line-up of 'drug' inks to do it and since they would be precursor chemicals, you'd be in the slammer as soon as you tried to import them.

The mind boggles at the thought of people swallowing condoms full of ink cartridges! :D Maybe they'd email the file to themselves from overseas then print it out when they get home.

In reality, no, you couldn't 'print' chemical compounds because all that a printer could do would be to mix the ingredients.

3-D printing is a whole other matter and builds in layers by fusing materials, I think wee Maurice is getting his concepts a little screwed up.

Best you stay on the right side of the border Pablo, it is a whole heap safer.

Cheers
