| 1336918 | 2013-04-14 23:00:00 | I know the feeling I was coming into land on an aerodrome just north of Raglan cant remember its name its no longer on the AD list. As I was approaching from the sea to this aerodrome on the top of the cliffs the plane dropped like a stone where I was comfortably 50 high just coming onto the start of the strip. Next thing I was about 3 feet above the strip all I had to do was cut the power and land. Scared the living **** out of me. Had it at Wahi Beach AD as well but it was a pretty rough day. | prefect (6291) | ||
| 1336919 | 2013-04-15 00:44:00 | I use to fly gliders and once I hit wind shear at about 3000ft it felt like falling off a cliff and I had to point the nose almost strait down to pick up speed again. Also had it on approach to landing also felt like falling off a cliff. :) |

| 1336922 | 2013-04-16 07:47:00 | Well, my guess is that he had landed and just ran out of runway for some reason which ended in a bit of a belly flop into the tide. :) Looking at the small amount of damage to the plane and the surrounding rocks suggests to me he landed very gently. ;) |
