1336557 2013-04-13 03:59:00 Midnight is not that bad. I once had an automatic text sent to me at 4:30am...

Back in the good old days of Fax, the bloody thing awoke and did its thing in the morning hours, usually as the result of some off peak incentive for using the copper at that time. With a home office, it also awoke the whole household as well. :(

1336558 2013-04-14 10:05:00 Stupid VF sends me txt reminders in the middle of the night to have enough money to account for plan renewals then next night sends me txts saying they have renewed the monthly plan. I complained to them about the timing of their txts and their reply was that it was not technically possible for them to alter the timing of it at present - really!! What happens on Telecom?

And regards those who can't hear their txts (when not on silent) try having a phone in the house that activates full volume "Born to Run" by Bruce Springstein when a txt is received

1336560 2013-04-15 03:48:00 ""How come a company that makes millions a year can't sort out a simple command line in their computer programme that sends out the texts at a more appropriate hour."

Haha that's my favourite part

1336561 2013-04-15 03:48:00 Interesting story and backs up my initial post. I also posted in the Vodafone forum site but it appears to have been removed - makes me think they appreciate their software needs some tweaking because that data bundle is good. stuffed (1469)

...2007 mate ;)

Needless to say now that my father has his Nexus 4, he won't be calling down Gods wrath upon Vodafone, it's easier to block certain senders with an SMS-firewall type app.

1336566 2013-04-15 05:15:00 My worst late text was from Jet Star at 3am saying the flight leaving that morning had been cancelled. PPp (9511)
