| 1358552 | 2013-11-03 06:41:00 | Surface 2 does not come with digital pen but Surface 2 Pro does. Can you buy the digital pen separate and make it work with Surface 2 ? I am mostly interested in using One Note App using a stylus pen similar to this: www.youtube.com But as you can the video is for Surface Pro. Also what is the difference between digital pen and a Digital Stylus? Is stylus simply a replacement for finger and doesn't do writing as shown in video ? |

My question is then will using a capacitive stylus pen work with Surface 2 as shown in the Pro version of video: www.youtube.com where as you write it converts your free hand writing in One Note to 'proper' writing. I haven't used One Note before so i don't know if the 'proper writing' conversion is done by OneNote or some additional hardware electronics which is only present in Pro versions of Surface Thanks |

Theres a reason why Surface Pro costs more and having a Wacom active digitizer built in, is one of them If you're in Auckland welcome to come past the Microsoft Auckland office and have a play with both |
