| 223699 | 2004-03-19 10:23:00 | On Windows XP, when on line the two little windows show in the task bar to indicate that it is on line. Also a short cut to the Network Dialogue can be used to enable/disable the Ethernet port. How can I get the same on Windows ME? |

| 223702 | 2004-03-21 15:07:00 | There is a box to tick in the Dial up dialogue, but none in the Network dialogue. If I use the dial up an Icon comes on in the task bar, but not on the Lan. | Mzee (158) | ||
| 223703 | 2004-03-22 12:12:00 | Hi there people, I would like to steal this thread for a similar problem with Win XP Pro. As Mzee stated on the task bar you have two little windows that indicate that you are on line. But sometimes the icon disappears altogether. My question is if the icon has disappeared how do you disconnect from the internet, apart from pressing the button on the external modem. cheers merlin-nz ;-) |

| 223706 | 2004-03-22 12:49:00 | What about a connection icon for Win95/Windows98 LAN connectivity? I've been on a lan for the past year and half and thats always been connected to a router, so no direct connection with the computer to get the icon on win98. Is it possible? Like it is in 2000/XP? |
