If you want a really good Aussie rum then try Bundaberg.

Top of Pitt St. is (or was) a scruffy bar which stocked I.C. - spent many a happy hour there but long way to go for a snifter.

223647 2004-03-20 00:49:00 Ta agen Ephelant. Yes, I have overindulged on B'berg on many occasions but be honest, it's not up to the level of I.C. which I reckon is (or now maybe was) the creme-de-la-creme of Southern hemisphere tots.

Thanks for your suggestion M.B. - I've never tried Woods so shall be investigating that one too.

223651 2004-03-20 23:09:00 I remember binge drinking Inner Circle rum in the Corporals Club at Woodbourne AFB in the late 70s. No mixes allowed, had to be swallowed non stop on a "for the fureher" shout. I spent 6 yrs on Navy ships and had taxpayer rum (squirt). I think it was Bundy until the stupid Navy stopped rum issue.
What a lot of toss about various brands causing hangovers and others not.
After a good binge with OP rum you will get a two day hangover and still be burping the rum up. There were some people who said they never got hangovers but they were liars they looked and smelt like @#$% just like everyone else. Onboard ship at port It was sometimes made up into mooses milk. After a few the chicks would always (close to 100%) get amourous.
