| 223583 | 2004-03-19 00:23:00 | I have a satellite laptop (toshiba) fitted with a dvd drive. I cannot operate my function IF combination to turn on the external monitor. the book requires me to go to control panel settings and then select the dual monitor label. When I go to there I am unable to find that label so I can't turn on the function and IF key. Could somebody please tell me where to find the duel monitor label. When I go to advance there are 3 S3 labels but not the dual function one. | Bobdobalino (4684) | ||

| 223585 | 2004-03-23 15:37:00 | Can we please clarify a little on what you're wanting to do here? From what Ive made out, you want to be able to watch DVD's through an external monitor / TV? Basically you need to set the other "monitor" to Mirror your current display, or to "expand" onto it. This is usually done from within some driver-specific settings. RIght-Click on your desktop and choose Properties Click on Settings Click on the Advanced Tab. There should be a few driver-specific Tabs in there that you can play around with so you can get TV-O working.. Assuming that's what you're wanting, as the post isnt entirely clear on that sorry. Hope this helps Chill. |
