| 223374 | 2004-03-17 22:56:00 | any one know about using the windows pre-install kit? I have used it a few years ago for windows 98, have just brought a new system for a friend and it has windows in pre-install mode. how can i step it back to audit mode? i wnat to install some anit-virus and such like but want to do all this before i deliver it to him. i know it can be steped back by pushing a magic key sequance when it boots up. anyone know how? thanks |

| 223375 | 2004-03-17 23:45:00 | have just found the answer. I wont post the answer due to the fact that it would let a people boot a shop new XP computer with out typing in a product code. MS would be very unhappy if the public could do that :-) |
