| 223903 | 2004-03-20 06:20:00 | Have a friend in Avonside drive ChCh who is on an invalid benefit and looks after his 81 year old father.It follows of coarse HE HAS NO MONEY. His puter running XP is his main joy in life and he has the Blaster worm.I have helped him all I can but can not get rid of it.Can someone nearby go and help??? He has AVAST,THE PATCH FROM MS,and fixBlast removal tool.If i get a reply I will give his phone No. |

Hello Dumb1 I think to stop Blaster worm you will need to enable the Win XP firewall (I am not running win xp so I cant tell you how to do this) & make sure his computer is up to date with all the windows update patches, if you are not too sure about any of them post back here & we can tell you what he need & not need. |
